Date Night Duel Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 29, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you play Date Night Duel: Couples Quiz (the "app"), a DBO Studios game published by DBO E-Commerce Services, LLC ("we", "us").
The short answer: the app collects no personal data, and everything you enter stays on your phone.
At a glance
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No ads and no advertising ID.
- No analytics, tracking or crash reporting.
- The app itself never uses the network and collects no data.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play.
What stays on your phone
The names you type for each player, the avatars and colors you pick, your match settings, an unfinished match, your match history and your stats are saved only in the app's private storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, unless you choose to share a result (see Sharing results below), and we have no way to see them.
You can clear your match history and stats at any time in Settings with Reset stats. Clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app, deletes everything the app saved.
Android backup
If you have turned on Android's backup for your device, Android may include the app's settings, stats and unfinished match in your device backup, stored in your Google account as described in Google's backup settings, and bring them back when you set up a new phone. Your device's backup settings control this, not us, and we cannot access your backups. Purchase records are left out of backups; they are restored from Google Play instead.
Purchases and Google Play
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your name, email address, payment details or billing address. When you buy or restore something, Google Play gives the app a purchase record (the product, a purchase token and a signature). The app checks it on your device, unlocks the content, and keeps a record of what you own in its private storage so your unlocks work offline.
Google handles your Google account, payments and purchase history under the Google Privacy Policy. The Google Play Billing Library, which Google provides so apps can sell in-app items, may share technical information about purchase operations with Google as part of running Google Play.
Sharing results
If you tap Share on the victory screen, the app hands a short text summary of the match, with both players' names and the final score, to your phone's share menu. You choose where it goes, such as a message to a friend, or you can cancel. The app sends nothing by itself.
What the app never does
- It does not sell, rent or share information about you with anyone.
- It does not show ads or use advertising or analytics services.
- It does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- It does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
Children
The app is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children; the app does not collect personal information at all.
Your choices
Because we do not collect or hold any data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. Everything the app keeps is on your device and under your control: reset your stats in Settings, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page, the text in the app and the effective date at the top. If a future version ever handled your information differently, we would update this policy before releasing that version.
